Preschool Classrooms

Our Preschool Classrooms are some of the largest, self-contained rooms in the area. Developmentally appropriate learning centers are established to foster a love of learning and exploration. Materials are related to subject, purpose and projected skill level. Specific centers included in each classroom are:

• manipulative
• block
• art
• dramatic play
• reading
• writing

Our classroom centers are our way to individualize the curriculum to meet the varying needs of the children in our program. A typical day will include teacher directed/child-centered activities in areas of language, art, math, music, science, large/small motor development as well as handwashing, snack and clean-up.

Godly Play Classroom

Our optional “Godly Play” program has a separate classroom providing a special location for the spiritual activities incorporated into this program.  We refer to it as the "Temple Room" because it transports the children back to Biblical times and is especially designed for preschool worship and activity times.

Body Management Classroom

Our indoor Body Management Center focuses on engaging the children in activities designed to improve the fundamental gross motor skills of balance, coordination, agility and strength.  A qualified teacher meets with each preschool class weekly. Her goal is to teach children how to move their bodies, and that movement is fun.  Equipment includes four-wheeled scooters, hula hoops, jump ropes, balls and much more.

Playground

Our Playground was designed and built for children 6 weeks through 5 years old in a large, shaded and enclosed, secure area.  It is utilized year-round, weather-permitting. The playground offers something for every child: slides, climbing equipment, tire swing, basketball hoop, playhouse, circle cycle, balance beam and much more...

Childcare Rooms

Our childcare program is a service to parents who need care for young children (6 weeks through 5 years) on a full-time, part-time or drop-in basis. Each classroom daily schedule is flexible to accomodate the interests and needs of the children.
