The Youth Ministry at Christ Church partners with parents to help teens develop in all aspects of life while preparing for college and careers. Teens are given opportunities to explore their gifts and talents through leadership, discipleship, and missions while focusing on becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus.

Get ready for the annual Winter Retreat. This year, speakers will be focusing on healthy, yet realistic relationships with the opposite sex. The retreat is called "Reserved" because teens will be learning about God's plan for men and women. In past years, this retreat has been known as the "Sex and the City" retreat. Christ Church is partnering with World Vision to help make a difference by fighting world hunger. We will be keeping busy during the 30 hours by doing missions throughout the Dayton area. Traveling down to Tijuana, Mexico we will be guests of the Tijuana Christian Mission. This year, the project is to build a house for Jesse, the friendly maintenance man who works at the orphange. There will be plenty of opportunities to play with the children, see the local sights, and just be apart of the Tijuana lifestyle and culture. Act now, you can still get the $650 rate until January 27th!
**As of 2008, it is now required to provide a Passport when traveling back and forth from the U.S. to Mexico. If you don't have your passport already, please make sure to send in your Passport application soon!

During a November weekend, 108 young people in 7th-12th grade and their adult leaders traveled to Marmon Valley Farm near Mad River Mountain for the annual PHAT Fall retreat 2007! The group experienced a Trail Ride through the hills on horseback, Leadership Challenge Course, Horse Arena Football, a real live "Hoe Down" Square Dance, Hay Ride, Bonfire and various Work Projects throughout the camp. With the theme "Relentless" the group shared in quiet times with God, worship, study and small group discussion, exploring what it means to be relentless in our relationship with the Lord and in life.

Over 60 young people and adults from Christ Church worked to share God’s love with people in two Dayton neighborhoods. On Xenia Ave, in Dayton, the crews worked tirelssly with Twin Towers neighborhood organizations to beautify the gardens, streets and sidewalks. In a North Dayton neighborhood, near children’s hospital, a small group of 15 worked with “The Clubhouse” to put on a neighborhood block party for 200 people.
