Safety First
As a Christian community of faith and a United Methodist congregation, we pledge to conduct the ministry of the Gospel in ways that provide safety and spiritual growth for all of our children and youth as well as for all the people who work with children and youth. At Christ United Methodist Church, all volunteers who work with children or students are interviewed, screened and trained on all aspects of our "All Protecting Together" safety policy.
We require that each child in our care be registered with us, be signed in on the class roster and wear a nametag. Children must be dropped off and picked up by a parent and retrieval cards are used for our younger ones.

For infants through 3’s not yet attending Preschool |
Childcare for these special little ones in The Cuddle Zone is offered all morning. Pick up your child’s nametag in Room 164 and proceed to their assigned room where you can sign them in and go over any special instructions with your child’s caregiver.

The Welcome Zone

Your first stop every Sunday is The Welcome Zone in Room 273! This is our command central where you pick up kids’ nametags, sign-in for classes, find your child(ren)’s room assignment and get all the latest Children’s Ministry news! Following each worship service, you may pick your child(ren) up directly from their classroom. Greeters will be available at the start of each worship hour to help answer any questions. |
