What is 2TheeXtreme (2TX)?

2TX is a high energy youth group especially designed for pre-teens in 5th and 6th grades. Our dedicated leaders help these kids bridge the gap and grow in faith as they prepare for confirmation and the Jr/Sr High youth group in 7th grade.

2TX meets on Sunday mornings for pre teen oriented bible and topical exploration. Class meets from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in Room 273. 2TX also meets once each quarter for special events, missions and fellowship.

How does my preteen get connected?

• Join us on Sunday morning at 9:30 in room 273.  You never know what might be happening in this crazy class.  So far this year, we've created our own Gardens of Eden and had a visit from a real snake all while learning about the bible and God's presence in our lives.
• Keep watching this site for information about our quarterly events.  Always something new and different for this crowd!  Read below for an example of one of our get togethers.

2007 Overnight and Graduation Party

As Much Fun as a Pirate can Have!   Arrrrr!

Ahoy! Almost 30 crazy pre-teens showed up to"Walk the Plank" on June 1, 2007. We had a jolly good time at our "Pirates of the Carribean" overnight which included games, a treasure hunt, crafts, a relevant message and of course tons of yummy junk food!

 

How can I help?

For parents there are several opportunities to contribute to your pre teen's spiritual growth in 2TX.

The class is always open for parents to observe and participate. The teaching team welcomes interested parents to come and join them, ro offer topical suggestions, to provide snacks, etc... If you are interested, please contact Mark Egloff at MEGLOFF@WOH.RR.COM
