What Can I Expect During My First Visit?

Our greeters will be happy to help you find your way to our worship centers, the children's ministry areas, or the Cafes where you can enjoy a fresh cup of gourmet coffee and meet others.

We want you to be comfortable and wear whatever you choose.  Suits to shorts, dress shoes to flip-flops, you'll see it all here!

You will never be asked to identify yourself as a guest.  We are here to answer any questions that you may have about us, our ministries, or ways you can be involved, but only when you're ready.  If you would like us to contact you, simply give us contact info on your bulletin tear-off.

We do take an offering during each worship service, but as our guest your presence is your gift to us.  If you choose to make an offering, we thank you for participating in God's work here.

Serving Locally

At Christ Church we encourage you to think beyond your comfort zone. Mix things up a bit when seeking ways to serve. Consider contributions you can offer that welcome Christ into your life and those you serve in a new and vibrant way.

Our definition of serving locally is broad.

For example, we work with community agencies like Springboro Community Assistance Center (SCAC) and One Heart to provide volunteers for the food bank, tutors, preparing and serving meals. Multiple times each year we share the love of Christ by sponsoring families through gifts and meals such as Adopt-a-Family and Turkey & Fruit Baskets.

And, there are those serving opportunities that support our church family and guests. We are intentional to create an experience that says you are welcome and you matter. It is not an experience about the building. It is about people creating an experience that says you have worth in God’s eyes.

Check out the full list of opportunities that might be a good fit for you.

Feed 5000

feed-5000.jpg

Jesus fed 5,000 people over 2,000 years ago, but people are still hungry today.  Together we can make a difference!  A list of items recommended by local food pantries along with boxes will be available at both campuses on April 23, April 30, and May 7.  Consider taking at least one box and take a serve trip to the grocery store!  Click HERE for a full list of items. Each filled box is designed to feed a family of 4 for 2 days.

Then return your filled box no later than May 14.

First Sunday Dinners

We are jumping "all in" to a new opportunity to be in service together & for others!  Each month a small group will make, bake, take, and serve dinner to all those who worship at New Hope Church (536 Xenia Ave. Dayton, OH 45410).  Following the 5 p.m. worship led by Pastor Jeff Cartwright, we will serve and enjoy a meal!

This is a family-friendly way to serve.

Contact Cari Oehlenschlager with any questions and to plug into serving this month!

St. Vincent's Breakfast Ministry

st-vincent.jpg

Each month, Christ Church will prepare, serve, and eat breakfast with the women and families who are served at the St. Vincent's Homeless Shelter. This is a great opportunity for families and friends to serve in our local community. Christ Church sends a crew the 3rd Sunday each month!

Meet at the north end of Kettering Campus at 4:45a.m., and return at approximately 8:00a.m.
