What Can I Expect During My First Visit?

Our greeters will be happy to help you find your way to our worship centers, the children's ministry areas, or the Cafes where you can enjoy a fresh cup of gourmet coffee and meet others.

We want you to be comfortable and wear whatever you choose.  Suits to shorts, dress shoes to flip-flops, you'll see it all here!

You will never be asked to identify yourself as a guest.  We are here to answer any questions that you may have about us, our ministries, or ways you can be involved, but only when you're ready.  If you would like us to contact you, simply give us contact info on your bulletin tear-off.

We do take an offering during each worship service, but as our guest your presence is your gift to us.  If you choose to make an offering, we thank you for participating in God's work here.

Worship at Kettering Campus

Worship is what we give to God. It is a time where we give God that which is right, natural, and called for; namely praise and thanksgiving.  When you truly come into the presence of God is it a life-transforming moment.  Such encounters are relevant to all aspects of life.  We become wiser, stronger, and most importantly more loving.  Worship, while primarily God directed, is always beneficial to the worshiper.  That kind of inspirational worship is the experience you will find at Christ Church.

Music is a very important aspect of the worship at Christ Church.  As one of the key ways to glorify and praise God, we strive to incorporate many opportunities for people to participate.  Worship is led by the organ, praise teams, or various musical ensembles. The Chancel Choir, Ignite Singers, Prime Time Choir, Carillon Chior, and Prism worship team are all ways to participate musically.  Christ Church also sponsors monthly concerts as part of the Joyful Sounds: Community Concerts at Christ Church series. For a full list of the Joyful Sounds concerts, click HERE.

Special Holy Week Worship

Maundy Thursday ~ April 13 ~ 7 p.m.

Let's gather together on this holy night to remember and celebrate the Lord's Last Supper. This special service will be a time to personally reflect on our own spiritual journey while also being nourished so that you might joyfully receive the glorious news of the empty tomb.

Good Friday ~ April 14 ~ 12 & 12:30 p.m.

Recognize the passion of Christ and experience our part in it during Good Friday worship.  These special services will be split into 30-minute segments or can be enjoyed as a complete worship experience.

Easter ~ April 16 ~ 9:30, 9:30, & 11 a.m.

Looking for a church to attend on Easter? You're all welcome at Christ Church!  Easter is a time of reflection, remembrance and celebration.  We reflect on the sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and celebrate the new life we have through His resurrection.
