How Do I Join?

Our Christ Church family welcomes those who wish to join us in our journey of faith. Those interested in joining are encouraged either to indicate this on the Registration Pad or contact one of the pastors. Members are received into our church in the following ways:

• By Profession of Faith
  For people making a first-time public commitment to Jesus Christ
• By Restoration of Faith
  For people who are renewing their commitment to Jesus Christ
• By Transfer from another United Methodist Church
  For people who are moving their church membership from another United Methodist Church
• By Transfer from another Denomination
  For people who are moving their membership from another denomination
• Confirmation Classes
  Held each year for youth 7th grade and above. Confirmands attend class for 21 weeks, go on retreats and participate in mission projects to prepare to become a member.
• Orientation session
  Anyone interested in uniting with our church family, or in finding out more about Christ United Methodist church, is invited to join us for an orientaton session. The session provides an opportunity to explore what it means to become a member of Christ Church and to learn more about ways to connect in the life of the church. An informal meal with fellowship time is included and childcare is provided. We look foward to welcoming you personally and helping you feel part of our church family.
